1st Main Drain was established in 1983 by Ian and Shelley Blackman and became a limited company in 2005.
We are a family run business and a local employer. We pride ourselves on our friendly service and the loyalty and expertise of our staff, many of whom have been with us for years.
We strive to keep the knowledge and skills of our staff up to date and to improve the quality, efficiency and safety of our practices through review and investment.
We are happy to undertake any job from a blocked sink to cleaning and inspecting the drains of an entire industrial estate and have a fleet of specialised vehicles for these purposes. We provide a 24 hour service every day of the year, including bank holidays.

Firstly, I was very impressed with the way that my enquiries were dealt with by your helpful and courteous receptionists who organised the drain emptying visits when required. The job did require some perseverance, particularly with the initial clearing of the blockage within the pipe leading to the sewer, so thanks particularly to Kevin for his initiative in tackling the job and getting it done so well.
